Buying multiple challenges to sacrifice some and pass others is monitored and will result in account restrictions.
Positions auto-closed at 3:10 PM CT
All positions must be closed by 3:10 PM Central Time (CT) every trading day. Positions not closed by this time are automatically liquidated. Trading resumes at 5:00 PM CT. After weekends, trading resumes Sunday at 5:00 PM CT. It is the trader's responsibility to close positions before the cutoff.
Correlated instrument hedging banned
Buying S&P 500 futures while shorting YM Futures is prohibited as they move in sync, neutralizing actual risk.
3.5% processing fee on all withdrawals
A processing fee of up to 3.5% applies to all Performance Reward requests, whether processed through RiseWork or other methods. This covers transaction costs and associated charges. The fee applies regardless of withdrawal amount ($250 or $10,000).
Max 5:1 risk-to-reward ratio enforced
Taking trades where the risk is higher than the potential reward beyond a 5:1 ratio is prohibited. This negative risk-to-reward ratio (RRR) goes against proper risk management. Engaging in this practice may result in account restrictions.
Trading within 2% of CME price limits prohibited
Executing trades within 2% of the CME price limit is restricted to prevent excessive risk exposure and potential market disruption. Violations may result in account suspension or restrictions.
16+ explicitly prohibited strategies
FundedNext has one of the most extensive prohibited strategy lists: platform error exploitation, account sharing, account rolling, multi-order spam, slow data feed abuse, spoofing, layering, grid trading, wash trading, latency arbitrage, reverse hedging, hedging correlated instruments, gapped/illiquid market trading, bracket/straddle strategies, account flipping, and unauthorized copy/group trading. Self-copy-trading between own accounts IS allowed.
Daily loss limit — Bolt only, soft (pause till EOD)
Only the Bolt Challenge has a daily loss limit ($1,000). Hitting it pauses trading until end of day (soft breach) and does NOT close the account. Rapid, Legacy, and Flex have no daily loss limit.
Micro-scalping policy — monitored but not auto-breach
Micro-scalping (opening and closing trades within seconds for small price fluctuations) does not trigger automatic account breach or termination. However, FundedNext has a specific policy to address it and may apply restrictions. This differs from many firms that outright ban it.

Trailing drawdown follows your equity highs, which means early profits raise your floor. Once it locks at initial balance or profit target, the floor stops moving, so hitting the lock point early is a key strategy.
Daily loss limit is a soft pause — account freezes until next trading session, not a hard breach.
