Custom indicators with signals are fine IF you manually place and manage trades. AI, bots, and HFT (100+ trades/day) are banned.
Tick/Micro scalping banned (<10 ticks AND <2 min)
Trades less than 10 ticks AND less than 2 minutes are considered tick scalping. No fixed minimum hold rule, but consistent pattern of quick-close profits without a plan is prohibited. Max leverage + quick close exploiting sim fills is banned.
100 trades/day HFT limit
Alpha Futures restricts strategies resulting in over 100 trades per day, automated or manual. AI, bots, and full automation are strictly prohibited. Semi-auto (custom indicators with manual execution) is allowed.
Advanced removes DLG/consistency/news/scaling
Advanced Qualified accounts have no Daily Loss Guard, no consistency rule, no news restriction, and no scaling plan. Prohibited Trading Practices still apply, including automation, gambling-style trading, tick/micro scalping, group trading, and reverse trading/hedging.
